IAMD SHENZHEN 2019 Creates a Window to look into the Future of “Industrie 4.0”

The leading trade fair of automation industry in South China – Integrated Automation, Motion & Drives SHENZHEN 2019 (IAMD SHENZHEN) successfully concluded at Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center today. More than 500 leading brands from 13 countries and regions staged a visual feast on automation product technology and industrial solutions under the six major sectors of industrial robot, control system and transmission technology, automotive equipment and electronic manufacturing technology, machine vision, industrial IoT and AGV with a total display area of 35,000 sqm. The show received more than 200 well-known buyer groups such as BYD, ZTE, Foxconn and ZDL and attracted a total of 38,672 trade visitors, increased by 10% compared to the last year.

 

Industrial Robots Sparkly Show Up

Nowadays China’s manufacturing industry adapts to the trend of digitalization, intellectualization, service-oriented, platform-base and green development. Learning from the developed countries’ successful experience of adopting Industrie 4.0 and Industrial Internet, China is dedicated to pushing ahead with the in-depth integration of manufacturing industry and digital technology in the whole life cycle and industrial chain in line with the strategies of developing China into a powerful manufacturing country. As one of the important industrial bases of advanced manufacturing industry, Shenzhen’s robot industry is constantly updating its technology, business types and modes and the whole chain is increasingly improved.

 

IAMD SHENZHEN 2019 gathered many well-known industrial robot enterprises of NACHI, Universal, IAI, YAMAZEN, SAMICK, Erbidi, TIETECH, Rokae, HSROBOT, YUMING, SMOOTH, SoftRobot, YULI, YTEA and SprutCAM to jointly showcase cutting-edge product technologies and drive upgrading of industrial automation in South China. Erbidi brought its six-joint dexterous robot, which was optimized with better accuracy and stability than traditional universal robot. Rokae made a wonderful appearance with its automation workstation of XB series light-weighted industrial robot display unit and LED module assembly line. IAI showcased the RCON- special multi-axis controller for onsite network, which supports seven common onsite network specifications in the industrial filed, up to 16 driving shafts and saving the cabinet space.

 

Machine Vision South China, a new themed exhibition

Machine vision, as the soul of industrial intelligent control equipment, has been applied in the field of industrial control, with an increasingly growing market. In this regard, Gary Liu, managing director of Hannover Milano Fairs Shanghai Ltd., expressed that, with the advantages of relevant preferential policies by the government, China's machine vision industry has ushered in a golden period of rapid development.

 

Adapting to the development trend of machine vision industry, Hannover Milano Fairs Shanghai Ltd., has reached a strategic cooperation with the national Level I society -- China Society of Image and Graphics this year, to co-organize the Machine Vision South China 2019 as a new themed show under IAMD SHENZHEN. This exhibition attracted over 100 notable enterprises in machine vision field such as Daheng, HuaRay, COGNEX and Mstar.

 

Application Park Igniting Onsite Atmosphere

The professional sector “Application Park” once again created an extraordinarily bustling atmosphere onsite. SICK, Microview, AICRobo and many well-known enterprises introduced their companies and flagship products through onsite presentation and face-to-face communication with trade visitors at this platform. They also had an opportunity to have a seamless contact with the target buyers and provide customized application solutions.

 

Summit Forum Dedicated to the Application Scenario at the Segment Market

During the show period, nearly 10 high-end summit forums and professional events were held concurrently. At Global Industrial IOT Conference 2019, the officials from Department of Industry and Information Technology of Guangdong Province, Guangdong Intelligent Robotics Institute and Guangdong Light Industry intensively discussed hot topics such as application of industrial IoT, plant digitization, networking, intellectualization industry solutions, machine vision, artificial intelligence and big data in manufacturing with top managers from Siemens, USR, Amazon, Mogulinker, Ali Cloud, Tencent Cloud and Jinggong Intelligence. They shared application cases of intelligent manufacturing in various sectors and elaborated the application of industrial IoT in manufacturing in an all-round manner.

 

Founded in 1997, IAMD SHENZHEN has been held for 23 sessions as one of the earliest and the most authoritative professional automation exhibitions in China’s industrial automation field with intensive influence. In order to express appreciations to both domestic and international partners, a gala dinner was organized on the first day of the exhibition. On that occasion, Gary Liu announced that IAMD SHENZHEN will be moved to the new fairground of Shenzhen World Exhibition & Convention Center (New Baoan Hall) from 2020.

 

Hosted by Automation Society of Guangdong Province, IAMD SHENZHEN 2019 is organized by Deutsche Messe AG and Hannover Milano Fairs Shanghai Ltd. The next session will take place at Shenzhen World Exhibition & Convention Center (New Baoan Hall) on June 2-5, 2020.
