As the largest and most influential automation show in South China, the Industrial Automation Shenzhen 2016 (IA Shenzhen) came to a successful close at Shenzhen Convention & Exhibition Center on July 1, 2016. About 450 industrial automation enterprises from 13 countries and regions including Denmark, Germany, South Korea, Canada, America, Japan, Singapore, Israel, Italy, Britain, China Taiwan and China Hong Kong showcased in areas such as industrial robot, control systems, machine vision and mechanical part within a display area of 30,000 sqm. Nearly 30 robot brands gathered on site to display a host of advanced products and technologies including collaborative robots. The three day show attracted 32,313 visitors in total, a 30.34% increase compared with last year. The setting of new record highs yet again proves the powerful appeal and great influence of IA Shenzhen in the South China market.

Eye-catching Industrial Robots on Site

Home to one third of service robot manufacturers nationwide, Shenzhen has ushered huge developing space in its robot industry with numerous advantages and government policy support, setting to become a core region propelling the development of the robot industry across the entire South China.

 

This year’s show forged an industrial robot area with every effort. Nearly 30 robot brands including YASKAWA, EPSON, YAMAHAY, IAI, GSK, ADTECH, UNITED, Jiaten Robot, Universal Robots, NACHI, TOYO, I-ROBO, OKM, LXD Robotics, STSROBOT, Asialand, HEITIAN, HAIFENG Robotics, BONMET, DynamikWell, OKAGV, ANYU, SZCRK and LOTES gathered to display a host of advanced products and technologies including collaborative robots, boosting Shenzhen to become a domestically leading and world-famous manufacturing base for robots, wearable and smart devices.

 

Wonderful Activities Highlighted the Show

The annual IA Shenzhen is undoubtedly one of the can’t-miss automation shows with the greatest popularity in South China and this year’s show is no exception. A series of wonderful events was held concurrently such as Robots in the Next 10 Years, 2016 Industry IOT Application Development Seminar (Shenzhen), Automation Technology Salon, China (Shenzhen) 2016 Machine Vision Technology & Application Conference, The transition of small companies  for Chinese manufacture 2025——the necessary way to go through in manufacturing industry, etc. to discuss the industry trend in depth and probe into the future direction of the industry in every aspect.

 

More than 135 VIP delegations including Foxconn Technology Group, TCL King Electrical Appliances (Huizhou) Co., Ltd, Gree Electronic Appliances, Inc. of Zhuhai, BYD Auto Company Limited, Belton Technology Group, Midea Group, Kyocera Office Facilities Technology (Dongguan) Ltd., Dongguan Robotic Industries Association, etc visited the show, which assured the quality of trade and business. Besides, the organizers specially invited 37 professional buyers and arranged 61 matchmaking events between exhibitors and visitors on the site, building a one-stop superb trading platform for automotive manufacturing, electronic manufacturing, machinery equipment, foods & beverages, pharmaceutical package, rail traffic and OEM enterprises in South China.

 

Water Expo Held Concurrently

As one of the significant professional exhibitions in the water area in Asia-Pacific region, the 18th Water Expo was held concurrently with IA Shenzhen as usual to forge an international grand event for areas such as sewage/industrial waste water treatment, membrane, water purification equipment, fluid/pump valve, pipe and pipe material.

The participating enterprises included IBP, Shenzhen Bao Health Industry Co., Ltd., Shenzhen Hans Water Purification Equipment co., Ltd, HotOEM, Firsle, Bangqi Environmental, Fine Water, Jiabei Technology, Fairey Trading, Changhong Instruments,  Zhuangyuan, etc. The concurrent mode of two exhibitions gathered new energy for the industrial development in China and even the entire Asia-Pacific region and brought an international industrial automation and water treatment events with the greatest popularity, best brand awareness and highlights in South China.

 

IA Shenzhen 2016 is organized by the Automation Society of Guangdong Province, Deutsche Messe and Hannover Milano Fairs Shanghai Ltd. Water Expo 2016 is organized by Hannover Milano Fairs Shanghai Ltd. The next edition will be held in June, 2017 at Shenzhen Convention & Exhibition Center.
